This book began as Vicki's CaringBridge journal updates for friends and family as well as their notes of encouragement to the Shreiners. This journal became a lifeline for the Shreiners because they saw over and over the power of prayer. As soon as Vicki posted a new prayer request, she knew that dozens of Resurrection Christian School students and staff, Resurrection Fellowship pastors and prayer warriors around the country would be lifting them up to God. They experienced miracle after miracle and peace that is only possible with Jesus as our partner.

Vicki Shreiner is wife to Steve and mother to Ryan and his grown brothers. They live on property overlooking the Front Range in Northern Colorado, where they raise miniature and standard horses, llamas, cats and dogs. Vicki is an active volunteer at Resurrection Fellowship Church and Resurrection Christian School in Loveland, Colorado. Having been through two cancer journeys with Ryan and with other family members, Vicki has a heart for others going through trials. Please Pray represents the debut of her writing ministry through which she seeks to bring hope and health to others and to glorify Jesus Christ.
